Abstract :Turkey has taken a considerable amount of steps towards full membership to EU in recent years. Unarguably, financial integration is also important from this perpesctive. The aim of this article to discuss Turkey’s similiarity to EU member countries in terms of banking sector using 2013 data. In this context, statisitcal data offers an insight on Turkey’s readiness to be a member of EU in terms of its banking sector.
