Abstract :Yirmi yılı aşan bir süredir İngiltere`deki Variorum müessesesi. tanınmış ilim adamlarının Orta-Doğu ülkelerinin taıih ve kültürlerine ait makalelerini guruplanclırarak kitap halinde yayınlamakta, böylece de değeri ölçülemeyecek pek büyük bir hizmette bulunmaktaydı. Çünkü zamanımızda sayılan pek artan DoğuBilimleri insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Oıientalistik); ile ilgili dergileri ancak Turkologischer Anzeiger`den takip etmek mümkün oluyor; fakat bunları derlemek, toplamak hayli müşkil, zaman alıcı, külfetli oluyordu. Geçen yaz insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Haziran 1990); yeni bir düzenlemeye girişen ve adres değiştirerek ilgililere duyuran Yariorum`un yeni ürünlerinden birisi Machiel KIEL`in yukarıdaki eseri olmaktadır, evvelkilerden de farklıdır.
