Abstract :Yaygın olarak Orta ve Batı Anadolu’da, aynı şekilde Akdeniz coğrafyasında özellikle de Yunanistan ve Roma’da karşımıza çıkan Kybele kültü çok köklü bir geçmişe sahiptir. Bu makale arkeolojik, epigrafik ve Yunan ve Roma antik edebi kaynaklarını inceleyerek söz konusu Kybele kültünün önemini açıklığa kavuşturmayı amaçlamaktadır.
