Abstract :Aim: We aimed to investigate the insidence of restless leg syndrome insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(RLS); in adolescents with functional abdominal pain insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FAP);. Materials: Seventy-nine adolescent patients following with the diagnosis of FAP ranging from 12 to 17 years of age in our clinic and 92 age-matched and sex-matched healty adolescents as a control group were studied. A semistructured interview guided by a questionnaire about RLS was applied to all of the participants. Results: Sixteen insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(20.2%); of the patients with FAP and 4 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.3%); patients in the control group had RLS. The prevalence of RLS was higher in patients with FAP, compared to the control group insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,01);. Discussion: The prevalence of RLS was higher in adolescent FAP patients than it was in the control group.
