Abstract :In this study, adventure tourist motivations were examined. In the last research different types of motivations of tourists participating in adventure tours were identified, factors such as:“being in a natural environment», «learning», «meaningful experiences» and «being in a new culture» all became important. The pre-eminent number of participants in adventure tourism is motivated by the desire to change something in their life under the influence of acquired impressions or completely transform it. At the end of this paper conclusions were made and a few suggestions were given to travel agent who engaged in this sector.
