Abstract :This study presents empirical evidence on factors causing the emigration from Kyrgyzstan using least squares method for the period from 1998 to 2011. The findings of the study unveil that economic factors such as, GDP per capita in destination country, value added per worker in agriculture and exchange rates influence the emigration decision.
