Abstract :The concept of development of the economic potential of rural areas is proposed. The expediency of allocation of rural areas as an object of state and regional management and diversification of the rural economy is substantiated. As a point of development of the economic potential of rural areas, it is proposed to expand the project «one – village – one product». The form of organization and management of the expansion and implementation of this project is the organization of wet agricultural clusters in the territory of the aiyl district.
