Abstract :Bu çalışmanın amacı; Gençlik ve Spor Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından 8i ilde il spor merkezleri bünyesinde uygulamaya konulan yaz spor okullanntn sporun topluma yaygınlaştırılınası sürecindeki katkılannı belirlemektir. Araştınnada tarama modeli yöntemi kuııanılmıştır. Araştırma problemine ilişkin mevcut bilgiler ilgili literatürün taranmasıyla sistematik bir biçimde verilmiş ve konu hakkında teorik bir çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; Gençlik ve Spor Genel Müdürlüğü ve Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu\`ndan elde edilen istatistİki veriinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(er tablolara dönüştürülerek yorumlanmıştır. Araştınnada yaz spor okullan uygulamasına katılımın her yıl artarak devam ettiği, özellikle yüzme, futbol, basketbol ve voleybol branşlanndajeatıltmın çok fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, yaz spor okulları uygulama<;ının çocuk ve gençlerimize spor yaptırına olanağı sunmast bakımmdan doğru olduğu, ancak yaz spor okullarına katılan öğrenci ve eğitici sayıları ülkemizin sahip oldUğu genç nüfusa oranlandığında uygulamanın hedef kitleye istenilen düzeyde ulaşamadığı ve yetersiz kaldığı sonucuna vanımıştır. The model of the scanning based method used this research. The knowledge according to research probinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(em given systematically by scanning the literatures about this theme and prepared the theoretical frame regarding to this therne. Statistical data, t.hat. was achieved from Yout.h and Spors General Directorate and Turkey\`s Statistical Institute, were converted the table and evaluated as data collecting tool. In this study, we detenmned that; participation of suınmer sporting school increasing regularly, particİpation of swimming, soccer, basketbalı and volleyball İs too much, especially. As a result we found that; summer sporting school is COITect activity in point of sport providing of child and young.
