Abstract :Ani ve beklenmeyen ölüm sporda çok nadir bir olaydır. Sporda ani ölüm yüzbinde iki oranmda görülmektedir. Sporculann ciddi bir kalp sorunuyla karşılaşma olasılıklan ise yüzbinde beş dolaylanndadır. Sporda en çok ani öıÜme kardiovasküler sistem sebep o/ur. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü, egzersize bağlı ölüm/erin, egzersizden sonra ki 30 saniye ile 6 saatlik süre içinde ortaya çıktlğtm belirtmektedir. Bir sporcuda ani kardiyak ölüm, travma olmadan, normal sağlık durumu öncesinde 6 saat içinde oluşmakta ve beklenmedik ani kalp durması olarak tantm/anmaktadır. Ani ölüm, gençlerde çoğunlukla kalp ve damar sistemindeki doğumsal anormal/ik/ere bağıtyken, yaşlı grupta ağırlığı koroner arter hastalığı çekmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler:Ani ölüm ve spor, ani kardiyak ölüm.   SUMMARY Sudden and unexpected death is a rare event in sport. The sudden death in sport is seen at the rate of two one hundred thousandth. The probability of encountery with serious heart problem of the sporters is about five one hundred thousandth. The most common sudden deaths in sport is caused by cardiovascular conditions. World Health Organization is pointed out that the death depending on the exercise occured in the period 30 seconds after exercise and in 6 hours. Sudden cardiac death in an ath/ete has been defined as nontraumatic and unexpected sudden cardiac arrest that occurs within 6 hours of a previously normal state of hea/t. While sudden death depends on congenital anormalities in cardiovascu/ar system in the young, it concentrates on coronary diseases heavily in the old.
