Abstract :This research is a phenomenological study conducted to examine the factors affecting the professional motivation of 10 teachers working at different levels and in different branches. The participants were selected using maximum diversity sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods. The data were obtained through a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results obtained from the study, while teachers have higher intrinsic motivation in a positive direction, they are more affected by external and negative factors.
