Abstract :This work analyzes how the religious-political relationships function in Social Contract Theory. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the terminology of Social Contract was developed by many thinkers of the age such as Thomas Hobbs, John Locke, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau to counter the classic empery arguments of both the aristocratic monarchy and of the church. The principal aim of this study is to investigate and analyze how this theoretic position has linked itself to modern-day political philosophy on religious and political relations.
Keywords : Social contract, covenant, religion Political relations, argument economics, natural law, the kingdom of God
