Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimi Ölçeğinin Tıp Eğitimi Alanı İçin Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract :ÖZET Amaç: Tıp eğitimi yaşam boyu devam eden, sürekli bir eğitimdir. Bu çalışmanın amacı “Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimi Ölçeği”nin tıp eğitimi alanında geçerlik ve güvenirliğini test etmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma Balıkesir Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden 274 öğrenci, Balıkesir Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden 101 öğretim üyesi ve Balıkesir Devlet Hastanesi’nde çalışmakta olan 121 hekim ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri, Coşkun insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2009);  tarafından geliştirilen, altılı likert tipi, 27 sorudan oluşan ‘Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimi Ölçeği’ ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Kaiser Meyer Olkin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(KMO); ve Bartlett testi, madde toplam puan korelasyonu, açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve Cronbach alpha katsayısı analizleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışma sonuçlarına göre orijinal ölçekten iki madde çıkmış, iki maddenin de yer aldığı alt boyut değişmiştir. Ölçeğin madde toplam puan korelasyon değerlerinin 0.42-0.77 aralığında, faktör yüklerinin ise 0.502-0.825 aralığında olduğu saptanmıştır. Orijinalinde olduğu gibi dört faktör grubuna ayrılan ölçek Cronbach alpha değeri 0.92 olarak belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimi Ölçeğinin yeni formunun tıp eğitimi alanında uygulanabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu ölçek kullanılarak yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimi ve etkileyen faktörler belirlenebilir.   Reliability and Validity Study of the Lifelong Learning Tendency Questionnaire  for Medical Education ABSTRACT Background: Medical education is a lifelong continuous process. The study aimed to test the reliability and validity of the  “Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale” for medical education. Methods: The research carried out with 274 students and 121 faculties from Balıkesir University Medical School and 121 physicians from Balıkesir State Hospital’s physicians. After all necessary permission obtained, research data were gathered by Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale. It based on the grading scale of six likert type 27 questions and developed by Coşkun insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2009);. Kaiser Meyer Olkin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(KMO); and Bartlett’s test, item total score correlation, exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient were used for data analyses. Results: According to the result two items was excluded from original scale and subscale of two items changed. The total score correlation value of the items in the scale were range between 0.42 and 0.77. The scale was separated into four factor groups in keeping with the original scale, and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of total scale was found to as 0.92. Conclusions: The results showed that the Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale’s new form was a reliable and valid tool and it can be used in medical education. By the scale, lifelong learning tendency and its determinants could be evaluated.
