Abstract :ulkemizde son 20 yrla damgasrnl vuran en onemli ekonomik olgu hie ku~kusuz enflasyondur. Siirekli fiyat art~~lan olarak tan~mlayabilece~imiz enflasyonun iilkemizde pek ~ok nedeni vardrr. Bunlarm bapnda da parasal geniglemeler gelmektedir. Bununla birlikte iilkemizdeki enflasyon olgusunun a~~klanmasrnda en eski geleneksel teorilerin yam .sm en son gSrii~Ier ~ercevesinde de ele al~nmasl biiyiik onem arzetmektedir.
