Abstract :The Türkiye Century Maarif Model (TCMM), introduced in 2023 and approved in 2024, is a key reform initiative aimed at integrating cultural values with modern educational skills to promote well-rounded student growth. This systematic review, guided by the PRISMA framework, examines 87 peer-reviewed articles from 2024 to 2025, sourced from DergiPark, TRDizin, and Google Scholar, to investigate the theoretical bases, curriculum design, implementation methods, and stakeholder views of TCMM. The study combines findings around five main themes: (1) Curriculum Content and Structure, focusing on a transition to student-centered, skills-focused learning with cross-disciplinary integration; (2) Values, Virtues, and the Competent/Virtuous Person Profile, emphasizing the Virtue-Value-Action framework for developing ethical and socially responsible individuals; (3) Teacher and Stakeholder Perceptions and Implementation Challenges, showing mostly positive attitudes but highlighting issues like curriculum inflexibility and insufficient training; (4) Incorporation of 21st Century Skills, Technology, and Digital Literacies, reporting progress in digital and STEM fields but identifying gaps in media literacy; and (5) Assessment, Evaluation, and Holistic Development, pointing toward more inclusive, competency-based assessments despite some practical hurdles. The review emphasizes the importance of enhanced professional development, a flexible curriculum design, and robust infrastructural support to realize TCMM’s potential fully. By aligning Turkish education with global competency standards while maintaining cultural authenticity, TCMM presents a promising but complex model for educational reform. Future studies should focus on long-term impact assessments and comparative analyses to overcome implementation challenges and improve outcomes.
