Abstract :Thomas Bauer, eserinde tezlerine ve iddialarına ilişkin güçlü ve ikna edici bir anlatı sunarak okuyucuyu düşünmeye ve sorgulamaya zorlamıştır. Kitabı bu yönüyle başarılı kabul etmek mümkündür. Ancak belirli tikel örnekler üzerinden genellemeler yapması, eserin bu başarısına gölge düşürmüştür.
