Abstract :XXI inci Beynelmilel Jeoloji Kongresi Majeste Danimarka Kralı IX uncu Frederik`in himayesi altında 15 Ağustos 1960 ta Kopenhag`da toplanmıştır. Beş Nordik memleket, İsveç, Norveç, Danimarka, Finlandiya, ve İslanda tarafından organize edilen Kongrenin ilk celsesi Kopenhag Parlâmento salonunda Danimarka Başvekilinin nutkuyla açılmıştır. 1956 da Meksiko`da toplanan XX nci Kongrenin Reisi Garcia Rajas`ın nutkundan sonra, Genel Sekreter Theodor Sorgenfrei Organizasyon Komitesini teşkil eden Danimarka, Finlandiya, İslanda, Norveç ve İsveçli Komitelerin kimlerden mürekkep olduğunu bildirmiş ve Kongre bürosunun Reisliğine Prof. Arme Noe. Nygaard ve Genel Sekreterliğine Sorgenfrei, ikinci Reisliklere de her memleketin delegasyon şefleri seçilmişlerdir. ...
