Abstract :İnterdisipliner ekip çalışmasının yaşlı hastaların değerlendirilmesinde, hastaların ve aile bireylerinin hastalığa ve tedaviye uyumunun sağlamasında artan önemli bir rolü vardır. İnterdisipliner geriatri ekibi klinisyen, hemşire, sosyal hizmet uzmanı, beslenme uzmanı, fizyoterapist ve psikologtan oluşur. Kapsamlı geriatrik değerlendirme ve ekip çalışması ile hastaların mortalite ve morbiditeleri azalmaktadır.
