Abstract :`Tarih Alanında Birinci Romen-Türk Sempozyumu` 6-8 Kasım 2000 tarihinde Moldova Cumhuriyeti`nin başkenti Kişinev`de yapıldı. Bu sempozyuma Türkiye`den Türk Tarih Kurumu Başkanı Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu`nun riyasetinde on kişilik bir heyet katıldı. Heyette İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi’nden Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Merçil, Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Donuk, Prof. Dr. Feridun Emecen, Prof. Dr. İdris Bostan ve misafir Romen Prof. Dr. Mihay Maksim, Ankara Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nden Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yaşar Ocak, İzmir Ege Üniversitesi’nden Prof. Dr. Bozkurt Ersoy, Kayseri Erciyes Üniversitesi’nden Doç. Dr. Mustafa Argunşah ile Türk Tarih Kurumu Sekreteri Nurettin Özdur bulunmaktaydı.
