Abstract :Liman Tepe kazılarında 1993 yılında ele geçen pişmiş topraktan bir Myken figürin başı, Batı Anadolu`da Myken kültürü etkisinin ticari ilişkilerin ötesinde çok daha etkili nedenlere dayandırabileceğini göstermesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu figürin başı, Liman Tepe`nin II 1 tabakasında açığa çıkarılmıştır. Bu tabaka, yüzeyin hemen alt seviyelerinde fazlaca tahrip olmuş Geç Tunç Çağı kalıntılarını içermektedir.
