Abstract :In the test excavation, carried out in 1958 under the auspices of the Turkish Historical Society, in a cave near the village of Mağracık in the Hatay province, the author of the article flint tools representing the Upper Levalloiso-Mousterian culture in a layer of yellow earth at the mouth of the cave. In this cave, which is about 83 meters above sea level, marine sand was encountered below the Palaeolithic stratum
