Abstract :Cylinder seals may be studied from three points of view: 1-Interpretation 2 -Art insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(form); 3 -Chronology Interpretation: Iconography is the central point of the present studies in the field of Near-Eastern archaeology; this is accepted by all students in this field. For these studies, a single approach, which combines the methods of Philology and Archaeology, is necessary. Art insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(form); : To study the cylinder seals from the point of view of art as A. Moortgat, in particular, is doing, is to study the outer forms of the works of art and through this to try to penetrate into the general culture which they represent. Also, F. Matz .
