Abstract :Türk Tarih Kurumu\`nun yılık Genel Kurul toplantısı 4 Nisan 1953 Cumartesi günü saat 10\`da Ankara\`daki merkezinde yapılmıştır. Toplantıyı Kurum Başkanı Ord. Prof. Şemseddin Günaltay açmış, yoklama yapılarak çoğunluğun bulunduğu anlaşıldığından Genel Kurul Başkanlık divanının seçimine geçilmiştir. Yapılan seçimde Başkanlığa Prof. Hâmit Ongunsu, ikinci Başkanlığa Tevfik Bıyıklıoğlu, Sekreterliklere Prof. Dr. Halil inalcık, Doçent Dr. Tahsin Özgüç seçilmişlerdir
