Abstract :Lion\\\'s Milk / Aslan Sütü, edited by Ian Brown and Alan Riach and translated by Gülru White, is a bilingual anthology that bridges Scottish and Turkish literary cultures. Published in 2024, it features Scottish poetry from 1600 to 2000, presented in Gaelic, Scots, English, and Turkish. The anthology enriches comparative literature and translation studies, featuring poets like Edwin Morgan, Liz Lochhead, and Lord Byron. While visually captivating with its Istanbul-themed cover design, the anthology\\\'s translations sometimes struggle with linguistic and cultural nuances, highlighting challenges in literary translation. Despite these issues, Lion\\\'s Milk / Aslan Sütü offers significant insights into intercultural connections and serves as a valuable resource for exploring the poetic dialogues between Scotland and Turkey. Keywords : Alan Riach, Edebî çeviri, Edinburgh’dan İstanbul’a, Ian Brown, İskoç şiiri
