Abstract :In the lyric poems of M. Fuzuli and in the poems of great Çağatay poet Ali ġir Nevai the features 17th century Azerbaijani lyric poetry can be seen. Azerbaijani poets of this period Rahmeti, Sadıki, Emani, Zafer, Saib, Kovsi, Mirza Saleh Tabrizi, Melik bey Avcı and others recognized Navai as an expert literary figure. Fuzuli‟s influence can be seen in „Nazire‟s of these poets that they wrote to „Navai‟ poems. With the effect of Navai, 17th century Azerbaijani poetry gained elements of Çagatay language.
