Abstract :Family problems seem to have negative effects on the functions of family in Turkey. One of such problems is the lack of communication among family members. Thus, they have difficulties in having healthy. relationships. it has been known that the rate of nucleus family in Turkey is high insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%67.10, DPT, 1993);. However, traditional relationships play a significant role in families. it is thought that the breakdown of such relationships can be addressed in terms of functionalism, interactionalism and exchange theory. This study deals with the development of a model about the healthy establishment of communication and relationships in family.
