Abstract :Karakeçiii tribe that live in Karakeçili, Kırıkkale, name  themselves Yuruk. As oppose to the tribal social life of Southeastem  Anatolian region, such a social life and organisation totally  dissapeared in the mentioned region. However, tribal consciousness  survives among Kırıkkale Kkarakeçili yuruks.
