Abstract :Rotundabaloghia (Circobaloghia) chilensis sp. nov. is described based on one female specimen collected from soil in Osorno Coastal Range, Chile. The new species differs from the other species from the subgenus Circobaloghia in the shape of peritremes, the shape and length of the ventral and dorsal setae. This is the first record of this family in Chile and also the southernmost occurrence of the family.
