Abstract :Doğumdan ölüme kadar, ömrümüzün büyük bir kısmı evde geçmektedir. Ev hem bizi birtakım olumsuz durumlardan koruyan bir barınak, hem de önlem alınmadığı takdirde bir takım tehlikelerin kaynığıdır. Konutlar, çevre sağlığı açısından son derece önemli bir durum arzetmektedir. “Son yıllarda çevre bilimi olarak adını duyuran ekoloji Yunanca iki kelimeden üretilmiştir. Okios: ev, yaşanılan yer; Logos: bilim ” Komisyon, 1992 .
