Abstract :Child health evaluation begins in the antenatal period, and fetal well being is now assessed in more detail than ever. Over the last few years, MRI has been increasingly used in conjunction with ultrasound, which is a proven method of antenatal diagnosis. Fetal MRI has been accepted as an eff ective method for the assessment of fetal central nervous system CNS structural abnormalities. Assessment of fetal CNS by an experienced multidisciplinary group of specialists can be more successful in this highly complex fi eld of medicine. Interdisciplinary cooperation and education should be a priority for clinical decision making and appropriate consultation of the families
