Abstract :The main goal in the treatment of ureteral lithiasis must be to achieve the maximum success in terms of being stone- free after one treatment session with minimal invasiveness. Therefore, for every case, the urologist must select the best treatment modality for a predictable, immediate high success rate with lowest morbidity. The success rate of ureterorenoscopy for the treatment of proximal ureteral calculi has dramatically increased and the invasiveness of the procedure approaches that of ESWL. Here in, we report of a case which iatrogenic upper caliceal rupture was developed after semi- rigid ureterorenoscopy with Holmium laser lithotripsy for a proximal ureteral calculi
