Abstract :Pyogenic granuloma is common, benign, vascular lesion of skin and mucous membranes. It is a type of the acquired capillary hemangioma developing on a minor trauma region. They are also called Lobüler capillary hemangioma and granuloma telenjiectaticum. Infections, trauma, foreign bodies, and hormonal factors are considered in the etiology. Pyogenic granulomas are most commonly found in the skin and oral mucosa but it is rarely seen in the nasal mucosa. The choice of treatment modalities depends on the size and location of the lesion. In this report a 52- years-old woman with a mass on her nasal septum was presented. This mucosal lesion was excised and histopathological examination of the specimen was reported as pyogenic granuloma
