Abstract :Currently, technology is used widely in all areas of life while developing rapidly. Widely used technology has life facilitating effects such as increased information sharing and being able to get a job done in a short time while spending less energy. However, using those technological tools without taking necessary protective measures or using them unnecessarily long have negative effects on human’s health in short and long term. In addition, women may be more affected by negative effects of technology due to their biological differences. Therefore, women should be informed to stop or reduce the women’s health problems that may arise from the use of technological tools and women should take the necessary precautions while using technology as well. Nurses are health care workers that have an important role on preserving and raising public health. Therefore, the negative effects of the use of technology on human health in general and on women’s health in particular and the role of nurses on reducing those effects will be emphasized in the article
