Abstract :Metastatic tumors of the gastrointestinal tract are rare. Blood-borne metastatic involvement of the stomach by cancer is a rare entity. According to the number of reports in the literature, the most common tumors that spread to the stomach the blood stream are maligant melanoma, breast carcinoma and lung carcinoma. Metastatic lesions in the stomach are usually asymptomatic. In these patients, the prognosis is very poor. We report herein a case of gastric metastasis by lung small cell carcinoma, with a review of the literature about this rare entity
