Abstract :Objective: The aim this descriptive study was to determine the preoperative anxiety levels in women scheduled for caesarean delivery. Method: The study was conducted with the 100 pregnant women at term who came to Mersin Maternity and Children Diseases Hospital between April 01 2009 and May 01 2009 during normal working hours/ days and who agreed to participate in the research. This study, the Spielberger State Anxiety Inventory and a questionnaire including questions about socio-demographic information about the women were used.
