Abstract :Purpose: This study has been done as a descriptive study for defining the satisfaction level of patients being treated in surgical clinics with nursing care. Patients and Methods: This study has been done between May and June 2013, on 224 patients having been treated in surgical clinics of the Health Application & Research Centre at Bursa Uludag University, after a surgical intervention. A Demographical Specifications Form and the Newcastle Nursing Care Satisfaction Scale have been used in the collecting of the data. The data has been analyzed with percentage, Mann Whitney U Test, and Kruscal Wallis statistical tests. Results: At the end of this study, it has been determined that the satisfaction level of the patients in the research group has not been affected by gender, age, profession, marital status, social security, economical status, place where they lived, the clinics where they have been treated, previous hospital experience, room type and the number of treatment days, but by the education level. p
