Abstract :Objectives: This study is conducted to determine the carreer choise of nursing students and influencing factors this.Study Desing: Sample of the research is formend by 102 beginning level nursing students in Nursing Department of Ondokuz Mayıs University Health College at December 2013. Data are collected with personal form and Entering The Field of Nursing Scale. Data analized with SPSS 16 program; average, analysis of variance and t-test was performed.Results: The avarage age of participant students is 18.7±0.9, participants’ 71.6% is female, 96.1% is single, 58.8% is live in city center; the mother of 55.9% and the father of 37.3% graduated from secondary school, 63.7% of participants’ salary income and outcome is equal, 52.9% graduated from Anatolian or Science High School and 59.8% is noticed their academic status “good”. 67.6% of paticipant students have never taken nursing service, 59.8% have never been as hospital attendant, 71.6% reported that noone is a nurse in their family. 59.8% reported that they choose nursing with their desire, 63.4% of students who chose nursing without their desire studying nursing for employment opportunity. The item “I think whether or not to stay unemployed in nursing” had the highest point score among all items. The difference between the data gender, salary status, having nursing service, relationship with a nurse, choosing nursing with desire and Vocational Choices in Entering The Field of Nursing Scale total point score was found statistically meaningful p
