Abstract :Sessile serrated adenomas are premalign lesions of the colon and more oftenly seen in the cecum and ascending colon. Sessile serrated adenoma in the appendix is rare. In this case report, the diamater increase in the appendix in a 47-year-old female presenting abdominal pain was determined on the computed tomography examination. Sessile serrated adenoma was found on the histopathological evaluation after appendectomy
