Abstract :Organophosphate compounds are commonly used in agricultural products and insecticides. Organophosphate poisoning occurs mainly via the gastrointestinal, respiratory tracts and the skin. Severe intoxication is usually the result of suicide attempt. The specific treatment includes the administration of atropine and pralidoxime. Decontamination should be done according to the exposure ways as soon as possible. Misuse and exposure must be kept in the mind especially at farmers, patients with psychiatric disorders and pediatric groups. We aimed to report a case of organophosphate poisoning caused by applying insecticide for head lice
