Abstract :Pulmonary alveolar proteinozis PAP is rare lung disease which is characterized as accumulation of lipoproteinoizis in the alveoli. This disease was first known in 1958. Around 500 cases have been reported in the literature. The most common symptoms are difficulty breathing dsypnea , fatigue and dry coughs. The disease has three forms; congenital, secondary and idiopatic unknown origin . The most common form is seen in idiopathic, more than 90%. The mortality rate is around 10% Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis is within the chronic disease group and can lead to changes in the activities of daily living. During treatment and follow-up, nursing practice and patient education are very important. Professional team unity in the treatment and care of diseases requiring years-long treatment is very important. Treatment, care and education, which are the roles of the nurse, play an important role in this disease. In this respect, this case is important for the literature
