Abstract :Hyperplastic gastric polyps, which are usually asymptomatically and incidentally detected, can cause some rare complications. These lesions have been shown to contain malignant foci, are more often confronted managed with increasing endoscopic applications. In this article, we present a case of gastric hyperplastic polyp which leads led to a persistent anemia of iron deficiency secondary to chronic gastrointestinal bleeding. We aimed to point out the importance and priority of endoscopic scanning in case of anemia especially in advanced age group and to emphasize the complications that may arise from this lesion
