Abstract :Objective: Significantly increased cesarean birth rates, maternal and fetal risks are present in very advanced maternal age. Therefore, we aimed to examine obstetric outcomes of pregnant women over 40 years-old.Method: A total of 150 pregnant women giving birth over 40 years of age were recruited in the study. A study evaluating the obstetric features, forms of birth, cesarean section indications is organized.Results: The mean age of the pregnant women was 41.63±2.02, mean parity was 3.39±1.3, mean gravida was 3.93±1.8, when the mode of delivery was investigated, rate of normal spontaneous vagina delivery was% 37 while the rate of cesarean section was% 63. When cesarean section indications were investigated respectively, previous cesarean section% 35, Fetal distress% 21, malpresentation13%, progressive action 11% miscarriage .Conclusion: There is a significant increase in cesarean rates in advanced maternal age. For early detection of obstetric and perinatal risks, antenatal care of the very advanced maternal age pregnancies should be done carefully
