Determination of MIC and MBC Values Using Different Extraction Methods in Plants of Nigella Sativa, Cuminum Cyminum and Pimpinella Anisum L. Samples from Kırıkkale Region

Abstract :In our study, it was aimed to investigate the antimicrobial effect of 6 plant extracts obtained with methanol by using maceration and soxlet methods from 3 plant species Nigellla sativa insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Black seed);, Cuminum cuminum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(cumin); and Pimpinella anisum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(anise); grown in Kırıkkale province by liquid microdilution method against Staphylococcus aureus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ATCC 25923); and Escherichia coli insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ATCC 25922);. All of the extracts of Nigellla sativa insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(black cumin);, Cuminum cuminum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Cuminum); and Pimpinella anisum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Anise); prepared by the maceration and soxalet method showed antibacterial effects against both bacteria insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(inhibitory and bactericidal);. it was determined that the antibacterial effect of the extracts obtained by the maceration method was higher than the extracts obtained by the soxalet method.
