Abstract :The purpose of the study was to identify the impact of staff motivation on worker performance and job satisfaction in the public health sector, determine the relationship between motivation, worker performance, and job satisfaction, identify the acceptance rate for participants regarding staff motivation, worker performance, and job satisfaction, and to identify the demographic characteristics of participants. The study was a descriptive cross-sectional design; data was collected in the different public health sectors in Iraq/Erbil from 10 March 2021 to 15 June 2021. The researchers distributed 280 questionnaires through an online application format. 250 questionnaires were received and completed properly, and 30 questionnaires were missing, so the sample size of the study was 250 participants, including doctors, nurses, and other workers. The study's limitation is the COVID-19 pandemic; the authors could not make field visits to organizations to gather information and directly interview participants. The findings of the study indicated that there was an impact of staff motivation on worker performance and job satisfaction in the public health sector, and there was a strong relationship between motivation, worker performance, and job satisfaction.
