Abstract :ÖZET Safra kesesi kanserleri, gastrointestinal sistemin nadir tümörlerindendir. Sıklıkla adeno- kanserler görülürken küçük bir oranı oluşturan skuamöz hücreli tümörler daha agresif seyir gösterirler. Safra kesesi tümörleri ile taş varlığı ilişkilendirilmeye çalışılmış ise de gös- terilememiştir ve taşsız safra kesesi kanserlerine de rastlanmaktadır. Uzun sağkalım ve hastalıksız yaşam süreleri ancak erken tanı ve cerrahi tedavi ile sağlanabilmektedir. Bu sunumumuzda, taşsız porselen safra kesesi nedeniyle opere edilen skuamöz hücreli karsi- nom olgusu literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır. Adenocancers are the mostly encountered one’s however squamous cell carsinomas consisting less amount have more aggressive clinical course. Studies to correlate gallbladder tumors with the existence of stone failed to show such a correlation and gallbladder tumor occurrence without gallstone has been shown. Long and disease free survival can be justified only by early diagnosis and surgical treatment. This case was oparated with diagnosis of porcelain glad bladder without stone formation but pathology confirmed it to be squamous cell carcinoma.
