Abstract :ÖZET Risperidon, ikinci nesil atipik antipsikotiktir ve sıklıkla psikiyatrik bozuklukların tedavisinde kullanılır. En sık görülen yan etkileri sedasyon, kilo alımı ve ortostatik hipotansiyondur. Literatürde risperidon kullanımına bağlı reaktif hipoglisemi ile ilgili az sayıda vaka bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, risperidon kullanımına bağlı şiddetli hipoglisemi gelişen 22 yaşında bir erkek hastayı sunduk. Anahtar Sözcükler: Antipsikotik; Hipoglisemi; Risperidon; Yan etki ABSTRACT Risperidone is a second generation atypical antipsychotic and it is often used for the management of the psychiatric disorders. The most commonly seen adverse effects recorded are sedation, weight gain and orthostatic hypotension. There are few cases in the literature related to reactive hypoglycemia due to risperidone use.
