Abstract :Posterior reversible ensefalopati sendromu (PRES) baş ağrısı, görme bozukluğu, bilinç değişikliği ve nöbet ile karakterizedir. Çoğunlukla hipertansiyonun eşlik ettiği klinik ve nöroradyolojik bir tanıdır. Hipertansiyon, otoimmun hastalıklar, immunsupresif ilaçlar, masif kan trasfüzyonu, karaciğer ve böbrek yetmezliği PRES etyolojisinde rol oynamaktadır. Klinik ve radyolojik tam iyileşme sağlanabildiği gibi infarkt hatta ölüm görülebilmektedir. Bu yazıda nöbet ile başvuran PRES tanısı konulan on üç yaşında olgu sunuldu.
