Abstract :ÖZET Uzamış COVID, COVID-19'dan iyileşmiş, ancak hala enfeksiyonun kalıcı etkilerini bildiren ya da beklenenden çok daha uzun süredir olağan semptomları olan kişilerde hastalığı tanımlamak için kullanılan bir terimdir ve semptomların bir aydan daha uzun süre devam etmesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. COVID-19 tanısı konulan hastaların %10 ila %20’sinde bir aydan daha uzun süren semptomlar görülmekte iken, hastaların %2,3’ünde semptomların 12 haftadan daha uzun sürdüğü gözlenmiştir. Semptomlar yorgunluk, baş ağrısı, dispne, kognitif bozukluk, depresyon, deri döküntüleri ve gastrointestinal şikayetleri içerir. Anahtar Kelimeler: COVID-19; Uzamış COVID; Koronavirüs ABSTRACT Long COVID is a term used to describe the disease in people who have recovered from COVID-19 but still report persistent effects of the infection or have usual symptoms for much longer than expected and is defined as the persistence of symptoms for more than a month. Symptoms lasting longer than one month were observed in 10% to 20% of patients, while it was observed that symptoms last longer than 12 weeks in 2.3% of patients. Symptoms include fatigue, headache, dyspnea, cognitive impairment, depression, skin rashes and gastrointestinal complaints. Keywords: COVID-19; Long COVID; Coronavirus
