Abstract :Bu makalede vahiy kaynaklı üç kitaptaki “kurtuluş” terimleri ele alınmıştır. Yahudi Kutsal Kitabı Tanah’ta kurtuluş için “yšʽ” kökünden türeyen kelimelerle “pādāh” ve “gā’āl” terimleri kullanılmaktadır. Yeni Ahit’te Yunanca “sôzein” fiili ile Latince “red-emere” fiili ve türevleri kullanılmaktadır. Kur’an’da ise kurtuluş, “fevz, felah ve necât” terimleri ile ifade edilmektedir. Tanah’ta ve Yeni Ahit’teki kurtuluş terimleri bir bedel karşılığında daha çok dünyevi bir kurtuluşu ifade ederken, Kur’an’daki kurtuluş terimleri dünyevi kurtuluş yanında daha çok uhrevi bir kurtuluşu ifade eder.
