Abstract :This paper presents a dynamic reconfiguration of a 33-bus power distribution network using the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA). The primary objectives are voltage profile improvement and power loss minimization, critical factors for enhancing the overall performance and efficiency of distribution networks. The proposed method adapts to hourly load variations, utilizing real consumer load profiles to account for dynamic changes throughout the day. By incorporating QAOA into the reconfiguration process, the system explores optimal configurations that reduce losses and improve voltage stability under varying operational conditions.
