Abstract :Yılan ısırması sonrası oküler komplikasyonlar nadir görülmektedir. Ancak toksin çeşidine bağlı olarak nörolojik ve hematolojik komplikasyonlar oküler sistemde de gelişebilmektedir. Bu çalışma ile engerek yılanı ısırığı sonrası yoğun bakım gereksinimi olmuş, iki kez antivenom uygulanmış ve plazmaferez yapılmış olan genç bir olguda gelişen oküler bulguları sunmak ve literatür ışığında engerek yılan ısırığı sonrası gelişen oftalmik komplikasyonları ve ilişkili olduğu sebepleri göstermek amaçlanmıştır.
